You want to become supplier of Banner?

Therefore you must follow the below mentioned procedure:

  1. The contact will be established with an enquiry of Banner or the contacting comes from you, to present your range of products and services.

  2. You send us for the requested parts an offer and sample parts, which will be evaluated by Banner.

  3. If the offer and the sample parts are alright, the next step is that you have to fill in the “Supplier Selfinformation”.

  4. After the correctly filled in “Supplier Selfinformation” you will get the customer and Banner specific requirements in the form of our “Quality Assurance Agreement“. With your signature you accept the Banner quality requirements.

  5. In case of no certification ISO/TS 16949:2002 there will be an analysis of the potential. Is there needed a certification ISO/TS 16949:2002 there will be a process audit with audit checklist according to VDA 6.3. Are you certified to ISO/TS 16949:2002 or the audit and activities are evaluated favorably, you will be approved as a potential supplier.

  6. If you are approved as a potential supplier there will be a first delivery. If this delivery is ok there will an approval as series supplier. Are there problems with the first delivery there will be an agreement on some actions for improvement. These actions can lead to a new delivery or to a breaking off of deliveries.

  7. Once a year there will be a supplier assessment on the basis of 4 main criteria (quality, price, logistic and communication).
